Welcome the Flower Moon

This flower moon, take some time to stop and smell the flowers. New Moon in Taurus.

This is a good time for spellwork to improve your financial situation OR if money isn't a concern for you, to take a look at what you value most and do spellwork to improve that situation. If you are partnered, then it will be especially useful if you and your partner look at these things together. Likewise if you belong to a larger group, such as a coven. Stick with tangible and quantifiable goals. Your spellwork this new moon will do best if you focus it on the material rather than the intangible. But make it joyful; don't let this become a cause of stress for you and your relationships. And take some time while you're at it to be thankful for the things that you've already got.

Full Flower Moon, May 19

It's probably obvious why this moon is called the Flower Moon. "April showers bring May flowers" and all that. This full moon is in Scorpio and it's a great time to do spell work for what you really want. I mean really want. Not what your mom wants for you, not what your spouse or your kids want, but what you really want. Go for it. Screw the rest of them! Seriously. We have to do this sometimes or just go crazy acting on everyone else's whims. If you find yourself feeling guilty, then maybe that's what your ritual work should focus on; ridding yourself of guilt for doing for yourself instead of others. If you find you don't know what you want, then maybe you should focus on that. If you know, throw caution to the wind and perform your spellwork. It's all about you.
