Sympathetic Healing Spell

Create or find an image of the one who is to be healed. Mark the part of the body that needs healing with a removable paint (like halloween makeup, or get creative and use jelly or chalk. What is best varies by the material you are using.) in whatever color best represents dis-ease to you. Red or black may be suitable. If it is a general healing, the entire image can be covered with the paint. For healing the Earth, you can use a globe. If you wish to heal a particular location (say the Amazon Rain Forests) mark that area with your paint.

You'll also need a cloth in the color of healing. Red works for some, others prefer blue, violet, green or white.

Place some Holy water in a bowl.

Candles in a color that you associate with healing.

Begin by casting your circlei as you normally do. Light your candles as you evokei any spirits or Gods whose assistance you desire.

Pick up your image and name it:
"This is (name)." You need not say more than that, just believe that whatever happens to that image will also happen to the one for whom the spelli is being cast.

Pick up your bowl of holy wateri. Hold it in your hands among the candles, so that their light is reflected in it. Ground yourself and, while focusing on the water in the bowl, draw the energy of the universe through the top of your head and out into your hands and into the bowl. As it passes through your body, make it change from whatever color it is as it enters the top of your head to a color you associate with healing. Know that the energy is healing energy and that as it enters the water, the water is being charged with healing energy.

When you feel that the water has taken on all the energy it can possibly hold, dip your cloth in the water and use it to carefully wipe the paint off of the image saying, "By the powers of healing water, (name) I was away your pain, I wash out this dis-sease, I leave you clean and whole and healthy."
Repeat as necessary

You may also wish to bottle your charged water and give it to your patient to drink or use it to bathe the affected area. (Keep in mind the origin of the water you are using and the affects of any herbs you may have incorporated into it when deciding whether to give it to your patient!) If you are doing this healing spell for the Earth, you can pour the water into any river or ocean.

Keep the image on hand for future spells. If you no longer wish to cast spells with your image, say to it "You are not (name)! You are just a mindless object! A toy! I have no use for you." and bury it outdoors where it will not be found.
