The Sacred Hearth

In my experience, new Pagans are generally told to Read Read Read, but aren't told what to read. There is alot of garbage out there. Luckily, I have already read a bunch of garbage, so you don't have to.

Unfortunately, because everyone is looking for something different, I can't just say, this book is no good, and this book is good. I have to know what you're looking for. I once read a book that claimed to be about psychic development that was a very good introduction to Wiccan principals but had very little to do with psychic development. Obviously I wouldn't recommend it for anyone seeking a book about psychic development, but a Wiccan seeker might find it useful. So, I suggest you read my reviews carefully before making your selections.

And, of course, click through this site to buy your books at Amazon.com, because I need the money. Or don't. They only give me a few cents anyway.

If you read no further than this, let me leave you with some of my favorites- even though they aren't really technically Pagan books.

The first is, well, bascially anything by Don Miguel Ruiz. He is brilliant and his work will teach you the mind set you need to truly live a Magical life.

And You Are Psychic: The Art of Clairvoyant Reading & Healing by Debra Katz. It will teach you how to center and control your energy, a wonderful starting point for anyone on a magical path.
